Excerpt of article text...
I absolutely love that REAL Studio uses SQLite as its native database engine. In addition to being fast and easy to use, it is also an industry standard. This means that our REAL Studio databases can be used with a variety of non-REAL Studio tools.
This is important because the database editor included with REAL Studio is pretty bad. It crashes a lot and requires you to drag the SQLite database into your project, which often leads to its own set of problems.
So let's take a look at a few of the many other tools that are available for working with SQLite databases.
Base
Base is a simple, low-priced Mac OS X application. Until recently it has been the primary tool that I use when working with SQLite databases.

SQLite Manager
SQLite Manager is available for both Mac OS X and Windows.

Price: $49 USD
Navicat
Navicat can also connect to PostgreSQL and MySQL. The SQLite version was recently released. It is available for both Mac OS X and Windows.
