Welcome Mike and Dave! Tell us about yourselves.
MIKE: I have no formal programming background. I've played on and off with various languages since the Apple II, but it's always been a hobby. I started using REALbasic for some side projects back in 2001, and have been using it ever since.
I went to college for 3 years in Minneapolis, before dropping out to move to NYC. I've been working as a video editor in documentary TV and film ever since.
DAVE: I graduated from University of Wisconsin (in Madison) in 2001 with a degree in Computer Science and Statistics. The first time I laid eyes on REALbasic was just over a year ago when Mike and I first got involved with the DARPA Grand Challenge. Dave and I are old friends. We're not quiet sure, but we met sometime in elementary school. We've known each other since junior high and this is really the latest in a line of experiments and gadgets weve built together. We have a shared interest in pretty much everything related to engineering
