iListen enables you to do Dictation, Transcription, Editing, Formatting, and Speech Navigation within any application. The new version allows users to access Spotlight and Automator applications by voice. Spotlight is Apple's new lightning fast way for users to find virtually anything stored on their Mac. It also adds Applescript commands and eliminates a few bugs.

Integer Plugin for Developers

Integer Plugin allows you to construct programs which can handle unsigned 64-bit, signed 64-bit, and unsigned 32-bit integers. You can use the arithmetic operators +, -, *, and / with these numbers. They can also interact with REALbasic integers, which are signed 32-bit integers. Doubles, Integers, and Strings can be converted to the new types, and vice-versa. The new numbers can be saved to and retrieved from a MemoryBlock, using its LittleEndian property or a user-defined Boolean. Version 1.2 allows comparisons to be made between UINT64 integers, between INT64 integers, and between UINT32 integers. In addition INT64 integers can be compared to doubles or integers.

iTunes Library Manager

Libra allows you to create, use, and manage multiple iTunes music libraries. It automatically quits and relaunches iTunes when switching libraries. Version 2.0 adds cross-platform support, added polish to the product, improved reliability with rewinding-type error handling, implemented support for distinct preferences, added automatic update notification, and more.

Programming Translator for Mac OS X

MacTranslator is a re-engineering tool for generating graphic models of programming source code. It scans source code to extract design information that it outputs to a text file. That text is imported into the MacA&D modeling tool to automatically generate UML class models, structure charts, and rich data models. MacTranslator can process over a hundred programming language dialects of C, Pascal, BASIC, Fortran, C++, Java, Object Pascal, Delphi, Objective-C, and SQL.

MonkeyBread Plugin Updated

MonkeyBread Software has updated its huge plugin for developers to version 5.3. The MBS plugin comprises a collection of several plugin parts which extend the REALbasic development environment with over 500 classes and 4 controls featuring more than 10000 documented functions. This version adds compatibility with RB 2005 R3, improved compatibility for MachO and Linux applications, and a lot of small changes and fixes requested by users.

REALbasic 2005 Updates

As part of the rapid release model, REAL Software has released new builds of REALbasic 2005 for Mac and Windows, bringing them both up to R3. The Mac version improves 3D Graphics Capability and the Windows version improves Visual Basic

compatibility. Both have had reliability improvements as well. REALbasic 2005 is now also available for users of Linux.

The Sonar log is completely searchable and lets the user narrow the view down to a particular program or a particular folder.

Time Keeping Software Updated

ToThePoint Software has updated its time keeping software, TaskTime3, to 3.5.3, which provides a straightforward method of tracking time spent on jobs you do for your clients. This update fixes a few issues such as empty Invoice Text fields and credit amounts being ignored. TaskTime requires Mac OS X.

The Fontz is a versatile font utility that allows you to browse installed and uninstalled fonts, see what they look like at different type sizes, styles, and colors, and even group them in like categories using a "wysiwyg" group editor. In this version -- for consistency, groups must now be listed in Fontz Viewer in order to be run as a slideshow, slideshow now shows first font and font name properly, and Fontz Viewer list now gets focus after a search.

Web Server Logfile Analyzer

TrendyMac is a web server logfile analyzer developed for OS X users who need to evaluate logfiles in a simple yet powerful way. Other solutions live on a web server and require complex configuration. TrendyMac lives on an OS X system, evaluates logfiles, and presents an interactive view of analysis results. Analysis results can be further evaluated using filters, sort options, and "Focus on" features. This bug fix release fixes various issues throughout the application.

Toolbars for your Apps

With UltraToolBar you can quickly add professional toolbars to your REALbasic applications. The toolbars are fully cross-platform and require no changes to work on a different platform. Version 1.2 adds menu buttons, support for other controls in the toolbar, button order can be saved/restored for use in preferences, and several minor bug fixes.
