Excerpt of article text...

Hi Paul! Tell us about yourself.

I was born in East Brunswick, NJ -- moved around a bit from there, and ended up where I am now in Raleigh, North Carolina about 10 years ago. I started programming when I was 13, the result of too much free time and an old Performa I'd saved up for.

I started Intelli Innovations when I was 15, from a boarding school in Virginia. I was always interested in developing my own shareware, and I released my first one in 1999: a program called IntelliNews. IntelliNews went to various web sites and parsed out data to display to the user in a "friendly format."

The program took off very quickly, and within a few months I had received offers from three commercial Mac developers to acquire it. I sold it to Aladdin Systems that summer, and helped them release a major update to the software at Macworld San Francisco 2000.

From there, I used the money from Aladdin to start Intelli Innovations as a real business, and I've been working at it since.

So you skipped college?
