Adrian Ward calls himself a "software artist," blending art and software into unique creations. He runs Signwave UK (http://signwave.co.uk/) in London, England, and has created the innovative (not to mention hilarious) parody programs Autoshop and Auto-Illustrator in REALbasic. These programs are full-featured versions of their Adobe cousins, while sporting Adrian's wicked sense of humor. They are a must download for every REALbasic user.
How did you get interested in computers?
When I was six, my mother bought our family our first home computer -- a Sinclair ZX Spectrum, with a whopping 48k of memory. Little did she know the trouble she would cause...
It was Christmas Day, and my dad and I plugged this magical black box into our television set and got it working. Within a few hours my dad had got tired of trying to figure out the cryptic commands, but that evening I started playing around with it and started to learn BASIC by copying out the program listings in the instruction manual.
