Excerpt of article text...

Xojo is here! On June 4, Real Software, Inc. became Xojo, Inc. and Real Studio became Xojo. It was a very exciting day for all of us here at Xojo. The feedback we have received since the release has been wonderful.

In addition to this, we also debuted a new User Forum (http://forum.xojo.com) and a new web site (http://www.xojo.com).

In the weeks since Xojo was released, I've done 3 webinars and will be doing more, I'm sure. The Upgrading to Xojo webinar was so popular that it filled up in just a couple days. I had to do a repeat session to handle the overflow!

Since everyone reading the magazine has previously used Real Studio, I thought I would share some tips you might find useful as you start using Xojo:

  • Xojo is free to use. Share it with your friends, coworkers, and others.

  • Any Real Studio licenses you have were automatically converted to Xojo licenses, which you can view by logging into your account (at http://www.xojo.com). You can use the same login you previously used for the Real Software web site.
